Dr Thomas Kerr-Phillips


Thomas obtained his PhD from the University of Auckland in 2017 and has focussed his reseach on conducting polymers and nanofabrication. He is experienced in the synthesis of novel conducting polymers, electrospinning, and the development of optical and electrochemical DNA sensors.

Thomas is part of a team that develops and implements research and development procedures and techniques to further commercialisation of Spot Check biosensors, and has a particular focus on adapting the technology for mass manufacture.
